I would have to agree with the previous posts about about the SmartBoard. The SmartBoard is something I know I could use every single day, where as only a certain amount of students can use 5-6 computers in a day. Also, finding room for that many computers in my room (actual WORKING ones, vs. the dead ones sitting UNDER the table) would be a challenge. SmartBoard would allow me to present information in a more dynamic way, bring in interactive computer learning, and allow me to pre-teach a lesson for the computer lab before we ever got there, saving the class much needed lab time. I am not saying I would turn down a new computer , but if forced to choose, I would pick the board, hands down.
