Congratulations to all of the first-graders in Room 16 who proudly displayed their hard work at Open House on March 30th! You didn't just impress your families -- you also impressed other teachers, other students, Kindergarten parents, and Mr. McRee (Ms. Regan's future husband). 
Spring Break is only days away! Friday, April 7th is our last day of school for TWO WHOLE WEEKS! This Friday is a minimum day, so remember to bring an extra snack for our lunch time (we won't have lunch at school). Do you have any vacation plans for Spring Break? Ask your parents!
Lots of events are happening over Spring Break -- Passover, Easter, Earth Day, and Ms. Regan's wedding! When you come back to school on April 24th, your teacher will have a new name -- Mrs. McRee.
I won't be back at school until May, but I promise to bring pictures from the wedding and from my honeymoon vacation in Hawaii. I know you will be on your best behavior while the substitute teacher is in our classroom!
