Leslie Rose

Who am I?

I am Leslie Rose, a fifth grade teacher at Plum Canyon Elementary. In my previous life, before elementary teaching, I was a professor in the Department of Theatre, Film, and Television at UCLA. I taught classes in scenic, costume, sound, and lighting design as well as serving as a designer and technical director on many productions. Theatre, art, and writing are my dearest loves. I believe guiding our students' creative expression through the visual and performing arts, as well as technology are the tastiest challenge in teaching.
