In all the spare minutes I have, I've been doing a lot a technology reading. Not that I didn't before, but this is reading more focused on bringing the best of technology to the classroom. Trying to find out what's going on in the world of technology education and how to bring some of it to Saugus.
I have found that true blogging is reflection and communication. Looking for response to writing and sometimes answers. So this is my attempt at that.
In this world of digital natives and digital immigrants and students who are definitely "wired" differently we, as teachers, need to look at how to address these 21st Century learners. To keep them interested and passionate about learning.
If you feel you have a "best practice" or would like to request a specific type of training, please share. If ,as a community of teachers, we can begin to communicate our knowledge and help each other we will be helping to address the needs of all our students.
