For those of you who make use of this great source, I wanted to let you know that it has changed names.  Marco Polo is now Thinkfinity.  Verison, who ownes and manages the site, has left the main portion of the site as it always has been with the various subjects and curriculum  links, but plans to expand the site even further.  If you have never checked out this site, please do.  There is everything from interactive lesson plans to great downloadable maps.

Saugus School District was well represented at the Marco Polo workshop on Thursday.  Hopefully teachers in attendance will share the wealth of content available at this free online resource.  Just log on to www.mped.org  and check it out.  No training required.


Mini-Grant deadline exteded:  CTAP has extended the deadline for the $2500 teacher mini-grants to April 14.  If you have a great idea for a project in your classroom and need funds for materials and or computer hardware this is a great time to apply.  It seems that they did not have very many applications.  Maybe a stroke of luck for you.  Here's a link to the site:
